The README documents studying Paper Desktop with REA and implementing its behavior in Rust. The architecture writeup separates observed desktop-shell findings from inferred hosted-editor behavior; it does not establish full Paper parity. No cloud collaboration or plug-ins. Rendering, text shaping and imports have gaps; macOS has only been type-checked by the author, not run on hardware. We have not built, run or audited it; clean-room claims are author-reported.
